Brass Quartet - Christmas Music - $8.00

The Twelve Days of Christmas

The Twelve Days of Christmas has been traditionally avoided by brass groups for good reason. Without the words being sung, the days all start to sound exactly the same...

But not with THIS
arrangement! Each day is arranged in a completely different musical style.

Day 1 - normal, just to get warmed up
Day 2 - similar but with a moving Alberti Bass line
Day 3 - Scottish bagpipes
Day 4 - very fast Country or Polka
Day 5 - Fifties Rock and Roll
Day 6 - Waltz
Day 7 - Salsa
Day 8 - Grandioso
Day 9 - Old Time Rock and Roll
Day 10 - 6/8 March (my personal favourite)
Day 11 - Lyrical - smooth flowing lines
Day 12 - Dixie!

This one costs more than my other arrangements, but you get a lot of music for your money! With banter between days, this song can easily entertain for 10 minutes. It is also fun to challenge the audience to sing along...

The top note is an F# for trumpet (E concert) and a G for trombone 1. The lower trombone has to work harder than the other instruments in this arrangement. The bass lines define many of the variations. Everything is playable without an F attachment.

Each part is 5 - 6 pages long, but I have optimized the parts for page turns between variations.
